A JEE Main CRL rank of 139,000 makes it exceptionally difficult to gain admission to any of the NIT. A student needs to achieve rank between the top 10,000 to 70,000 to secure admission at NITs based on their engineering branch selection.
The ranks required to secure admission at NIT Rourkela in 2024 ranged from 3,983 through 48,289 according to different branches of study. The Computer Science and Engineering programme at NIT Silchar held closing ranks between 5,595 and 12,893.

There are higher possibilities to get admission to CSE at JECRC Foundation with 88.8 percentile in JEE and 87.2% in Class 12. For BTech at JECRC, you are required to have a minimum 10+2 score of 45%. Admissions for the same are based on JEE Main scores. To check the cutoffs at the college, you can visit the Shiksha website.
