Hey,
If you are a 12th class student, you probably have very few days left for JEE advanced if you haven't yet completed your preparations. Leave aside that, just focus on key areas in every subject and do a thorough revision of those topics. Try to solve past years papers and solve as many good questions as possible. Use good reference books and quality study material. Time management is yet another aspect of getting a good rank. Best of luck with it. Eat well , sleep well and try to minimize waste of time as much as possible. Possibly minimize watching TV and using internet. Prefer to study from hard copies rather than soft copy.

No its not possible,but try in other good b-tech colleges,they may consider you as a JEE applicant, means a good student,this can possible.

it might be good to go to IIT .and then you can opt your field if you get top ranks in the branch you got in IIT 1st time

It is difficult to get admission as their cutoff is little high but you may get admission in top premier institutes by scoring good in their entrance examination and thereby availing high scholarship.here are some of the institutes that conducts their own entrance examination and you can apply in these if you are eligible:

there are a lot of entrance exam going on for different states as well as for different colleges you should try there first and when nothing goes in your favour then think about dropping the year. remove this thought of dropping from your mind totally for now.
