Most colleges have a different provision for admission and reservations. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

With 66%, for NIT Patna you need a really good score of about 270 and if you have the state quota then 250+ would do for NIT. Moreover, if you have any other quota benefits then the requirement would vary accordingly.

So, my suggestion would be to practice with basic knowledge from all the subject area will be helpful and you may need to follow 2 authors with latest edition books. You can use good online source for practice and few good author books. Remember to follow the exam announcement to know what would be the pattern this year.
