According to the feedback of both experts and students, the JEE main 3rd April 2025 Shift 2 paper was, in general, regarded as of a moderate to difficult level. Chemistry ranked highly as the tougher part because the questions are unpredictable and many times time consuming, Physics was moderate, and Mathematics was also moderate but moment consuming and thought-provoking with difficult computations. Generally, it was slightly more demanding as compared to the morning of the same day and with regards to the January 2025 session.

With a JEE score of 57.23 percentile, getting Mechanical or Mechatronics in top NITs or IITs isn't possible. But don't worry—many good private colleges like SRM, VIT, Amrita, and Manipal offer these branches and accept scores in your range. You can also explore state engineering colleges that admit through board marks or state entrance exams. Focus on colleges with good labs and placements.

With a CRL of 6 Lacs and OBC rank of 2.5 lakh, it's honestly quite tough to get Biotech or Environmental at DTU. Cutoffs are usually much lower, even for OBC. You might have better chances in spot rounds or try other state colleges.

Writing the JEE exam can be of great advantage to the engineers to be in India. It is the main entrance to the top educational institutions of the country i.e. IITs, NITs and IIITs, which provide the best education, best faculty with much better placement offers and salary package. Although, direct admission in some of the private colleges under board marks or under management quota, passing JEE in more cases gives a more assured future and career in some cases and hence a very recommended route of an aspiring serious engineer.
