No, College of Engineering Guindy does not accept the JEE Main entrance examination results for admission to various BTech course specialisations. Instead, the institute accepts the TNEA exam and its counselling process for admission.

A candidate can choose to apply to BTech at Amrita School of Engineering either through AEEE or JEE Mains or both. BTech seats at Amrita School are offered according to the Centralized Seats Allotment Process. The guidelines for seat allocation are as follows:
- JEE Mains: 30%
- AEEE: 60%

It is not compulsory to take both the JEE and AEEE exam to get admission in BTech programme at Amrita School of Engineering. AEEE is conducted in two phases. Candidates can attend any one of the phases or both phases to secure AEEE 2026 rank.

Chandigarh University offers admission in CSE on the basis of CUCET score. You can avail full scholarship through CUCET. CU offers direct admission based on board marks. If you have good marks you can get admission in various specialised courses.
