No, students can not do B.E. courses in Army Institute of Technology without JEE exam. The admisisons to B.E. courses are purely based on JEE (Main) score. For being eligible to fill the application form students need to score minimum of 45% in class 12 or equivalent in the Science stream.

It is not compulsory to appear for JEE Mains exam to participate in REAP. If you do not have the JEE Mains score, then your Class 12 marks will be considered for the merit list.

Yes, JEE Mains is a compulsory entrance exam to secure admissions at NIT Patna. Candidates will be alloted seats to the BTech course during the JoSAA counseling on the basis of JEE Mains scores secured for that academic year at NIT Patna.
No other entrance exam scores are accepted for NIT Patna BTech admissions.

JEE is not required to take admissions in Birla Technical Training Institute. Since Birla Technical Training Institute offers Polytechnic Engineering Diploma courses, students after class 10 can take admissions based on merit. Competitive exams like JEE is not the requirement. For lateral admissions to 2nd year, class 12 or ITI percentage is considered.

With 95.94 percentile in JEE Mains, you have a strong chance at Thapar University for most branches 👍
What you can expect:
✅ CSE / CSE (AI/ML) / COE – Good chances (may depend on category & counselling round)
✅ ECE / ENC / EEE – Very safe
✅ Other branches – Almost confirmed
Thapar admissions are primarily based on JEE Main percentile (50% seats) and 12th board marks (50% seats).
👉 Make sure you:
Apply through the official Thapar admission portal
Participate in counselling rounds
Keep backup branch preferences ready
If you tell me your 12th percentage + category (if any), I can give a more accurate estimate.

Honestly speaking, chances are very low.
With 75% in boards and 26 percentile in JEE Main, getting admission to Thapar University (TIET) for BTech is unlikely, even in lower-demand branches. Thapar's cut-offs are usually much higher, especially for JEE-based admissions.
You might have a very slim chance only if:
Seats remain vacant in later counselling rounds
You're open to non-core / less demanded branches
You have Punjab domicile or reserved category

Yes, SRMJEEE is easier than JEE Mains. The difficulty level of SRMJEEE is similar to class 11 and 12 board exams or a little tough than boards but is definitely lower than JEE.

Yes, students can get admission in IIT Roorkee without JEE scores. But, this is possible for non-BTech courses, such as MSc, MBA, M.Arch, BArch, etc. If students are seeking BTech admission, then JEE scores are mandatory.
