Yes, candidates can get admission to Padmashri Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil College of Engineering (PDVVCOE)'s BTech programme with a valid JEE Main score, given that they have cleared the cutoff set by the college.
Candidates wishing to get admission to the BTech programme can use their JEE Main score or their MHTCET score for admissions.

If 48870 is your OBC NCL ranks then it is hard to get any sourse in NIT Trichy or calicut. If 48870 is your AIR rank, still you will not get any branch in above college. You should try somewhere else.

Having the 70 percentile in JEE Main and 62% in boards, there can be no direct/clear admission to the top NITs or IITs. Nevertheless, a score within this bracket is taken into consideration by many established and good colleges which are privately owned as well as some level government institutions. For integrated M.Sc. programs at both CET Bhubaneswar (now OUTR) and VSSUT, admission is primarily based on OJEE counseling, with JEE Main scores also considered for some seats. Candidates need to appear for both OJEE and JEE Main and then participate in the respective counseling processes. The final seat allocation is based on the merit list prepared by OJEE, considering both OJEE and JEE Main scores.

Most of the excellent engineering colleges provide good placement opportunities without even the JEE Mains score. These institutions usually have entrance exam of their own or other state/national level tests. Well-known ones are BITS Pilani (BITSAT), VIT Vellore (VITEEE), SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMJEEE), Manipal Institute of Technology (MET), Amrita School of engineering (AEEE) and Symbiosis institute of technology (SITEEE or other state-specific engineering entrance exam or JEE Main). COMEDK UGET and KCET scores are also acceptable in RV College of Engineering in Bangalore. These colleges are renowned because of the

Suppose it is 187 and 61 percentile in JEE Mains 2025 January Exam and it seems that your rank would be between 173239 to 326517. With such strength of merit, it would be extremely difficult to secure an admission in the highly ranked government colleges such as NITS or ILCA IIITs. But you may get an opportunity with some GFTIs or colleges (depending on the branch preferences and quota) in the state government college, if you belong to a particular category and depending upon your home state quota.
