Despite the fact that you haven't explicitly said it this way, I must guess that you did fairly well in the JEE Mains examination. Fortunately for you, the minimum 12th grade point average criteria has been waived for this year's admissions procedure, thus you should be qualified to apply. Hope it's helpful. I wish you luck.

Student must score in the top 99th percentile to qualify into the computer science branch. It's just a straightforward mathematical computation here. 1 percentile indicates that 1 percent of the students scored higher than you. A percentile of 99 indicates that, out of the 10 lakh students who took the JEE Mains exam, about 10000 students scored higher than you. If we add up all the seats in all the NITs for this branch, there aren't as many left.

Yes, on August 11th, a student may register for JEE Advanced. Students from India who took the JEE Mains and placed in the top two and a half Lacs candidates are eligible to take the JEE Advanced. It is very difficult to translate % into ranks. This is the case since no one is aware of the number of pupils who fall within a few percentiles of each other or at the same percentile. Only the National Testing Agency has access to all the information, and they will definitely release it soon after the second session of the JEE Mains examination is completed. Just be patient for a few more days, and you will receive your results.

Hello, The percentile one achieves in the exam determines one's ranking in JEE Mains. Additionally, the national testing agency chooses the student's two best performances to calculate their percentile. The calculation here goes all the way to 7 decimal places. NTA will release the JEE Mains results once both testing sessions are over, and Devil will simultaneously release the percentile and ranking that each student achieved in this exam. Since the necessary data is solely and exclusively available through NTA no one else can calculate the percentile.

Yes you can easily get NIT through SC reservation. For your state NIT it is almost sure and for other top NIT it may not sure but for lower NIT it is again sure that you will get admission. But branch may be different from your choice.

You can get very Few NIT's or IIIT's if you are from General Category but if you are from reservation Category then there is high chance of getting NIT's or IIIT's but branch will be different there. Also you can get into GFTI's if you are from reservation category. Now talking about private college, here you can almost all of private colleges.

You can get many government colleges like NIT's, GFT's, IIIT's or good state government college of your choice. For getting better idea firstly you should sit in JoSAA councelling, here you will get clear idea about which college and branch you will get. But before applying to JoSAA councelling, do some research related to past cutoff for different college and branch. Also try to first apply for your state NIT's, GFTI's, IIIT's because here you will get benefit of state quota.
