As long as the dates don't clash, and you satisfy the eligibility requirements. You can take both exams. Ensure you start your preparations in advance as it can be quite challenging to prepare for both exams at the same time.

Hello Madhulatha, I am afraid that you are quest for getting a Seat in the branch of CSE while having ranking of 35000 in JEE Mains examination is not going to be difficult. This is so because there are just about 40000 seeds in total across all the NITs and GFTIs and equivalent institutes. Out of these seats, the quota for OBC NCL at 27% will indicate that there are about 1600 seats for this category. In addition to this almost every student gives this branch as the first choice, and you have about 35000 students from OBC NCL ahead of you and finding for a very small number of seats. But then admission process sometimes throws up many

Hello Sujit Mondal, if I may say so you are ranking in SC category at about 13000 is perhaps not good enough to get you a SEED in any NIT or GFTI. I am saying this because of the following calculations for your benefit. All the national level institutes accepting the rankings of JEE Mains examination have a total of just about 40000 seats. With reservations for SC category at 15% the number of seats come to about 6000 across India. Does with the above explanation you can see for yourself as to where you stand vis-a-vis seats available for SC category. In view of the four going, I would rather such as that you can take 1 year off from s

Hello Udit Pal, I am afraid that you are ranking in OBC NCL category is about one Lacs forty thousand. The total number of seats in NIT and related institutes which accept JEE Mains examination score at the national level like IIIT etc. Is just about 40000. With OBC NCL reservation at 27%, the maximum seats that can I crew under this category is at just about 11000. So, you can SEE for yourself us to where you stand in this category. But do not lose hope since admission process many times throws up surprising results. Alternatively, you can think off taking 1 year off and utilising this period exclusively for preparing for this examina

The ground situation is such that with your percentile of about 64, you are not likely to get seat in any college for the branch of CSE. This is so because almost every student gives this branch as the first choice and as a result the cutoffs all the closing ranks for this branch are pretty stiff. In IIT Mumbai the closing rank for this branch is less than 100. However, if you are interested only in this branch then I can suggest you that the only way forward is to seek it under management quota of private deemed to the universities. You will need to contact these institutions individually and come to know about the process they want t

Hello Monish Parikh, I can understand and appreciate your angst and the anxiety about the results of session 2 of the JEE Mains examination conducted by National testing agency. The 6 digit figure that you have mention here is not making any sense to me. As to your query of where you can get admission and the list of such possible colleges I would like to advise you to wait for few days for National testing agency to declare final results. So that you will come to know your ranking and percentile in the all India list. Once you have this information then you can use the college predictor designed by Shiksha based on the results of prev

Hello Kolipaka Padma, yes, indeed. Do not worry. All the students who have appeared for session 2 of JEE Mains examination will definitely get their results from National testing agency when it declares the results for this session 2. When National testing agency will declare overall results at that point in time your best performance in either session 1 over session 2 will be taken into account and based on this your final percentile and ranking will also be declared along with other students by National testing agency. This is expected to happen in next couple of days and I would request you to have some patience and wait this period
