Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Generally for most of the university the criterion is you should have minimum of 65% marks in overall and in mathematics and in PCM is required to take admission in B.Tech degree course. For reserved candidates the percentage varies from 50% to 65% according to the university. If you have very low percentage and you are worrying about admission in B.Tech then contact with the institution where you want to take admission or contact in the university under which you want to take admission they will provide you the exact criterion for taking admission in B.Tech according to that particular university under

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Candidates who want to appear for IIT JEE exam must qualify their 12th with 75 per cent marks which is for the General and OBC category while 65 per cent cutoff is set for other reserved categories like SC, ST, PwD. However, these are not always fixed. To be eligible for JEE Advance, one has to first clear JEE Main and be JEE Main qualified and to be JEE Main qualified one has to clear the required cutoff as per his/her category. The JEE Main 2019 cutoff (percentile) for all the categories is provided below -
Common Rank List (CRL) : 89.75
GEN-EWS : 78.21
OBC-NCL : 74.31
SC : 54.01
ST : 44.33
PwD : 0.11.

Good day, Ishika Sakhare. A 74 percentile is respectable but insufficient for admission to any NIT. You are well below the cutoffs for the open category if we compare them to those NTA announced last year for both taking the JEE Advanced exam and applying for admission to NIT. You must take the MHT CET if you are from Maharashtra in order to be admitted there. To further assist you, I have included a link that will estimate the college you can get with this percentage. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor

Greetings, Satish Singh Let me start by congratulating you on your strong performance in JEE Mains. I'm confident that you will be admitted to this college with a percentile of around 80. But keep in mind that student habits fluctuate over time, so if they abruptly alter this year, things might be different. To be of assistance to you, I am providing a link that can forecast the branch and college you will go based on how well you perform on this test. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor

If you eagerly want CSE only then you should go for it definitely. But you should apply for the counselling according to last year cutoffs and if you are not getting a good one then go for a drop.

Please allow me to tell that you did not perform well on this test, B Krammer. In the first session, roughly 8 Lac students showed up, and you scored at about the 50% percentile. This means that almost 400 000 students have obtained higher scores than you. For JEE Advanced eligibility as well as admission to NIT and other government-funded institutions, NTA chooses the top 2,500,000 students. Along with the findings of the second session, which will start on July 25th, they will be announcing. In order to be of assistance, I am providing the various cut offs for various categories stated by NTA for the admission process from the previo
