Considering both the colleges as per my research Narula INstitute of Technology is better compared to JIS college of Engineering, as of rank Narula Institute of technology ranks as the top most private engineering college in terms of reputation and reports says that Narula Institute of technology provides better placement with the highest packages compared to that of JIS college of engineering.

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, and JIS College of Engineering too, have respectable placement records; however, JIS College generally has an edge over placements and corporate ties. In JIS College, it has greater numbers of leading companies for placement visits.

As per the official website of the JIS College of Engineering, requests for deferrals are not granted automatically. The application needs to be submitted along with reason of deferral.
