For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 40789 to 98151. In the last round, the cutoff was the lowest for the BTech in Biomedical Engineering branch, with the cutoff being 67032, meaning that this was the toughest branch for admission.

According to my resources who are studying MBA from JIS College of Engineering, the highest package offered was 12 Lakhs per annum by Cognizant and the lowest package offered was 3.2 Lakhs per annum by Infosys and the average package was 4.2 Lakhs per annum. I think this is one of the good college for MBA who has lower scores in CAT or MAT exam.

The admission to this college is purely based on the marks you score in wbjee exam which is a state level exam conducted by the West Bengal Board of Technical Institution and other one is JEE Exam which is national level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). JIS College of Engineering B.Tech admission was purely based on the scores of JEE Mains and WBJEE. The application process for WBJEE has commenced on December 28, 2023. The last date for the WBJEE registration 2024 is on January 31, 2024. Candidates can register for the WBJEE 2024.
