JIS College of Engineering BTech is a four-year course offered in the full-time mode. Admission to the programme is based on the applicants' entrance exam scores, subject to the fulfillment of the preset eligibility criteria. The college has specified the following eligibility criteria for admission to its BTech courses:

Considering both the colleges as per my research Narula INstitute of Technology is better compared to JIS college of Engineering, as of rank Narula Institute of technology ranks as the top most private engineering college in terms of reputation and reports says that Narula Institute of technology provides better placement with the highest packages compared to that of JIS college of engineering.

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, and JIS College of Engineering too, have respectable placement records; however, JIS College generally has an edge over placements and corporate ties. In JIS College, it has greater numbers of leading companies for placement visits.

As per the official website of the JIS College of Engineering, requests for deferrals are not granted automatically. The application needs to be submitted along with reason of deferral. The college will respond in writing regarding the same. Students can reach out to the admission help desk of the college to clear their doubts on the matter.
