Yes, JNTU Anantapur offers an opportunity for candidates to get admission directly into the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. In this course, the duration of this course is three years, where students can skip the first year of the course and start the course in the second year. Hoever, candidates must have passed a qualifying Diploma or degree and also have a valid rank in the ECET examination. JNTU Anantapur offers BTech (LE) course across 12 specialisations. 

As per the official website of JNTU Anantapur, admission to the BTech course is based on the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET score. To secure admission candidates must apply for the EAMCET exam and participate in their counselling rounds. Further, candidates must also have a valid qualification, i.e., Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 45% aggregate.
