No, physiotherapy is a clinical health care profession and cannot be studied through distance education or online education at the UG or PG level. BPT and MPT courses at UG and PG level require clinical hours of lab work, patient encounters, and supervised hospital postings which can't be undertaken remotely via online education. RGUHS and NMC mandates regular attendance and clinical hours for all courses at UG and PG level.

Based on my experience, GIBS has received good recognition in recent rankings.

  • IIRF 2025: Ranked 49th among private B-Schools in India.

  • Times 2025: Ranked 71st among Management Institutes in India.

When I was looking for colleges, I checked rankings too, but I didn't make my decision based only on that. I wanted a college that offered good exposure, practical learning, internships, and placement support.

That's why I chose GIBS Bangalore, and I'm happy with my decision. My suggestion is to use rankings as one factor, but also look at the learning environment, industry exposure, and the opportunities you'll get during your cours

Yes, there are many scholarships provided for MBBS students in Karnataka. Some of the scholarships under Karnataka government are Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST students, OBC Scholarships as well as minority scholarships. Scholarships are also provided by Central Government through National Scholarship portal as well. Private colleges also have their own merit scholarships.

RGUHS usually conducts supplementary exams a few months after the main exams. Students are not allowed to progress to the next phase until they clear all subjects of the current phase. There is a maximum time limit (usually 8 to 9 years from the date of admission) to complete the MBBS degree.

Yes, absolutely. NEET is the only entrance exam accepted for MBBS admissions across all medical colleges in Karnataka, whether government or private. There is no state-level medical entrance exam in Karnataka. Your NEET score and All India Rank (AIR) determine which college and which quota seat you are eligible for. Without a valid NEET scorecard, you cannot apply for MBBS anywhere in Karnataka colleges.
