Yes, NEET is now mandatory for B.Sc Nursing admissions across India, including Mangalore. Candidates who are willing to get admission to B.Sc Nursing should appear for the NEET examination. After NEET, government seats and private college seats are filled through Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) counselling. So if you want a government quota seat or even a management quota seat in most private colleges, your NEET score matters a lot. The higher your NEET score, the better the college you can get. Students who score well in NEET have a much stronger chance of getting into top colleges like Father Muller or Yenepoya.

Computer Science Engineering is by far the most popular and the highest-paying branch in Karnataka, especially given Bangalore's IT industry dominance. Electronics and Communication Engineering is also a strong choice with good placement opportunities in both IT and core companies. Mechanical and Civil Engineering have decent prospects too, especially with Karnataka's growing manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. Choosing CSE or ECE in a good Bangalore college gives you the best shot at strong placements and high salaries.

Yes, this is possible through management quota or NRI quota seats, which usually have separate (often lower) cutoffs than the general merit quota. However, you still need to clear the NEET minimum qualifying marks. Many students with moderate scores still secure decent dental colleges in Bangalore through these quotas.

No college can honestly guarantee 100% placement, and dentistry largely works differently from engineering placements. Most BDS graduates either pursue MDS (postgraduate), start their own clinic, or join hospitals and dental chains after completing a compulsory rotatory internship.

No, NEET is compulsory for BDS admission anywhere in India, including Bangalore. No dental college, private or government, can admit students without a valid NEET score. Some students get confused because management or NRI quota seats seem easier, but NEET qualification is still mandatory. So if you're dreaming of a dental seat in Bangalore, NEET preparation is non-negotiable.

Yes, and many students miss out simply because they don't apply. Top colleges like RVCE, BMSCE, and MSRIT offer merit scholarships to COMEDK top-rankers, usually under rank 500, covering anywhere from 25% to 100% of tuition fees, renewed yearly based on performance. So a high COMEDK rank can dramatically cut down your actual fee burden. It's always worth checking scholarship eligibility before assuming a college is out of budget.
