Mysore can be much more affordable than Bangalore in terms of cost of living and college/university fees. For instance,  SJCE BE in Mechanical Engineering is for INR 1.63 Lakh. Likewise, a PGDM in Agri and Food Business Management from Agriculture and Food Management Institute is for INR 3.3 Lakh.

Other than these private institutes, one of the top government institutions, such as Mysore University has more than 180 degree programmes, with fees starting from INR 4,500.
