Yes, you can. But, your candidature would be considered under All India Seat. So, you would need a higher score in any exam that you choose to apply through.

I would suggest you to go for Christ University as it has a good brand name, excellent ROI and a decent brand name as compared to XIME, Bangalore and Alliance University, Bangalore.

No, it is not true. During placements no college or university can reserve placements for any student depending on the religion. These are rumors. I have a friend who is in his first year MBA in Christ University and he has confirmed it that there is no such thing.

The eligibility criteria for Christ University is-
Composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) either September / December 2016 OR
A composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2016
70 percentile or above in the Common Management Admission test (CMAT 2017) or
70 percentile or above in the Common Admission test 2016 (CAT)
70 percentage or above in the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2017 or
70 percentile or above in the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2017).

There are many colleges in Bangalore, but it doesn't mean PGDM had more preference than MBA, so you can go for any better colleges in Bangalore, there are many. But don't get attracted seeing their prospectus and the salary of past students in prospectus, that's all only for advertising. So, be smart in selecting a good college.
