The cutoff trends show a gradual increase for courses which have a high demand such as Computer Science engineering and a gradual or a low cut off for courses such as electrical engineering have slight low cutoff.

The cut off marks are calculated by giving a 50% weightage to each KCET marks and 12th standard board examination marks. Both are combined to calculate the rank.

No. The KCET application is mandatory to be applied via official website. The examination is an offline exam.

No, there are no placement in KCET exam rather it is a state level entrance exam for undergraduate courses in the fields of engineering, agriculture and pharmacy in Karnataka.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts KCET examination which is in an offline state level examination.

The KCET counselling includes document verification, web option entry, mock seat allotment, modify enteries that is post mock the option is given to modify the enteries, 3 rounds of allotment and final admission. The candidates have the choice of waiting for next round for better colleges or holding or exiting the process.
