As per the latest students' reviews on the Shiksha page, the average package offered to BTech students during the recent KGEC placements was INR 8 LPA. On the other hand, the average package offered to BTech students during the recent JEC University placements was INR 4.50 LPA. Both institute are good for BTech placements.

The fee structure for M.Tech is about 23lakhs. Also if the aspirant clears up the entrance and qualifies all eligibility admission can be done with as low as 14973 INR for the 1st sem and as informed by institute for consecutive semesters

Secure a GD rank in WBJEE. Between 3000, then you may be able to take admission in kalyani Government Engineering College. If you can't secure your seat in 3rd counselling then you also have a opportunity to take admission which is decentralised counselling formerly known as spot counselling.
