As per the latest students' reviews on the Shiksha page, the average package offered to BTech students during the recent KGEC placements was INR 8 LPA. On the other hand, the average package offered to BTech students during the recent JEC University placements was INR 4.50 LPA. Both institute are good for BTech placements.

KGEC is a government established college with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in Kolkata, west Bengal. KGEC offers some schemes West Bengal Freeship Scheme (WBFS):
This scheme is for poor students in MCA courses.
Students have to pay university registration fees, examination fees, and all other than tuition fees, criteria to gain admission, students have a minimum of 50% in 12th and 50% in graduation.

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering has 4 years of Course. With excellent infrastructure, and they promised placement prospects.

Diploma holders can take admission through WB-JELET (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry) in B.Tech 2nd year.
