If your general rank is 1599. Then you must have gotten admission. But if your OBC rank is 1599 then it is very difficult to admit in kalyani.

It always depends upon the difficulty level of question, but I would suggest you to score atleast 35+ marks to get addmission in kgec specially for electrical and mechanical department, scoring 40 will 100% guarantee your admission.

According to AICTE rule, 75% attendance is necessary but in our College different departments have different criteria for attendance, don't worry you won't have to face very strict attendance rule in CSE department.

You will have to get a rank within 15 in department, for that 35 marks are quite enough. Score 35 in JELET and get admission in KGEC.

There is around 12-15 seats in CSE in KGEC, seat depends on the number of dropout students in first year, so large number of dropouts means more seats in JELET and vice versa.

There is very chance for KGEC with this rank, but you can try your luck on other government colleges in West Bengal.
