The chances of obtaining BDS admission at KGMU with a NEET score ranging from 200 to 250 are extremely slim. The admission cutoff score for KGMU BDS programs reaches between 520-550 points for normal students who are not part of the OBC category with a range of 470-500 points for OBC students. Private dental institutions along with management reservation selection may offer opportunities to qualify despite higher entry requirements. Students need to pay between INR 2.4 lakh to INR 3.6 lakh as the complete BDS program fees at KGMU.

Admission to BDS programme of KGMU depends on NEET scores as your NEET score is 127 it may not be easy to get a seat in government colleges but you may check the official cutoff of last year to ascertain if there could be a scope for admission. The admission procedure entails applying for NEET counseling under the MCC or state counseling body. It would be advisable to keep yourself well-informed regarding the official KGMU and NEET counseling portals for precise details and dates.

KGMU admissions are both merit and entrance-based depending upon the level and type of the course one chooses. For BSc courses, the university offers direct admission, while for other UG & PG courses, the admission is based on national-level entrance exams such as NEET PG, NEET SS, NEET UG, etc.

With a NEET score of 245, you might not get admission to the BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology) course in KGMU Paramedical College since the cutoff for paramedical courses in well-known institutions like KGMU is more. But you might be considered on factors such as your category, benefits of reservation, and the number of students.

Cutoff for an admission is set according to each course and category of King George's Medical University (KGMU). For the MBBS course 2024, NEET UG cutoff ranged from 2059 for the General AI category to 29714 for candidates applying for other courses, such as BDS.

Therefore, competition is tough, and very high ranks are needed to get admission into MBBS compared to other courses. Thus, the candidates must score well in the NEET examination and participate in the Uttar Pradesh State Counselling procedure to obtain a seat.
