The difficulty of receiving MBBS admissions at PKGMU will depend on various factors such as the student's own performance, competition, seat availability, reservations, etc. Admissions are based on the KGMU NEET UG cutoff with the 2024 cutoffs ranging between 2059 and 29714. Students must also go through the Uttar Pradesh State Counselling process to be assigned KGMU seat.

However, candidates with good preparation can easily get a seat in the programme with their relevant scores in the entrance examination and counselling.
