Yes, candidates can get admission into the KGMU MBBS course with 60% scores in Classes 10 and 12. The basic scores that the university requires to consider candidates to be eligible must score at least at least an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, the candidates must have completed their higher senior secondary in the Science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as main subjects.

Yes, King George Medical University offers seat reservations as per the Government's reservation policy. The total number of seats available at the MBBS course is 250, the seats are reserved for students belonging form SC, ST, OBC, UR and EWS candidates. KGMU NEET UG Cutoff 2024 has been out for Round 3. The Cutoff was published for students seeking admission to MBBS/BDS across different categories of candidates under the All India quota. The Round 3 closing ranks for the General quota candidates were closed between the range of 2059 and 29714. Out of all the courses, the most popular one to get admission into was Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).

No, candidates are not allowed to get admission to the MBBS course at KGMU without NEET scores. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pursue an MBBS degree in India without passing the NEET exam. To get selected by King George Medical University for the MBBS course, candidates must qualify for certain eligibility criteria from which the first one is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCB stream with a minimum of 50% scores. Secondly, candidates must appear and secure good scores in the NEET entrance examination. Lastly, the last seat allotments are based on candidates' performance in UP NEET counselling.

KGMU NEET UG cutoff 2024 has been released for various courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. KGMU cutoff 2024 ranged between, 2059 and 29714 for the General AI category candidates, wherein, the most competitive course with the lowest ranks needed is MBBS (2059). Considering the NEET UG Round 3, students cannot get admission for MBBS course at KGMU with a cutoff rank between 10000 and 30000 under unreserved category, however, apart from MBBS, students can prefer BDS at a lenient cutoff rank of 29714. Teaching is entrusted to the respective department.
It is of 2 years duration.
Candidates are eligible after passing the Intermediate Examination with Science and Biology.

Every year, the cut off marks for the KGMU NEET exam are affected due to the following factors:
- The difficulty level of the exam. In case the question paper is easy then the NEET cut offs are expected to go high and vice-versa.
- Total number of applications received. If the total applications received are less then the cut off is expected to be relaxed.
- Total candidates qualifying NEET exam. If the total number of qualifying candidates is less than the total seats then cut off goes low
- Total number of seats. If the total number of seats is revised and increased then cut off is expected to remain low

- Applicants must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognised board.
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Biotechnology), and English are required in class 12th.
- General Category (UR), OBC, EWS: Applicants need to have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in Class 12.
- Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories need to have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate in Class 12.
