NEET marks required for MBBS in KGMU Lucknow aren't about a specific number, but rather about securing a rank within a certain range. The admissions for MBBS are based on your NEET rank, not just the marks you score.  The cutoff ranks can fluctuate slightly each year depending on the difficulty level of the NEET exam, the number of applicants, and the number of available seats. The closing rank for the General Category in KGMU Lucknow for MBBS was around 2199 in 2023.

KGMU MBBS admissions are entirely based on scores of NEET UG. This is a popular national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to all Medical colleges across India by NTA. Before applying for the exam, candidates must pass Class 12 in the Science stream having Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their main subjects. The applicants must be of minimum 17 years at the time of sitting for the exam. Those who qualify the NEET UG exams will be allocated seats via NEET UP Counselling process.

Yes, it is possible to pursue medical education and become a doctor after completing a BSc in Nursing from KGMU. However, the process involves several steps and requires awareness of specific requirements.

In India, admission to medical schools is primarily through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test . Therefore, you will need to prepare for NEET.

Once you pass NEET, you can enroll in an MBBS programme, which typically lasts around five and a half years and includes both pre-clinical and clinical training.
