No, to appear for the KMAT exam, candidates must have a laptop or a desktop. They must also use a stable internet connection on the device they are using. The exam will be conducted in the online remote proctored mode. It is hence preferred to have the following requirements:
- Laptop or desktop with a webcam
- Stable internet connection
- Compatible browser (Chrome or Firefox)
- Windows

The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) question paper will have a total of three sections. These sections are Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning. Each section in the KMAT question paper carries 40 multiple-choice questions. The candidates will be given a total of 120 minutes to complete the exam.

A good score in KMAT is subjective. However, a score between 104 to 106 can be considered good for the general category for admission to the tier I KMAT colleges. Whereas for admission to Tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges in Karnataka, a KMAT score between 70-80 is also fine.
