Lakehead University comprises of 3 campuses in total, out of which the 2 main campuses – Thunder Bay campus and Orillia are located in Ontario. In partnership with Georgian College, Lakehead University offers selected programs at the Georgian-Lakehead campus in Barrie, Ontario.

Thunder Bay Campus: Located in the heart of the City of Thunder Bay, this campus full of fields and greenery is home to over 6,500 students. Most of the buildings are grouped around Lake Tamblyn, with underground tunnels connecting the centralized buildings on campus for easy access during classes. The Thunder Bay Campus also comprises of paved trails surround the campus, making it the perfect place to take advantage of taking in the beauty of the area whether you are walking, jogging, rollerblading, bicycling, or, in the winter, cross-country skiing!

Orillia Campus: The first campus in North America to be built to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standard, the Orillia Campus is next level environment friendly; from the green roofing system, to geothermal energy source, water collection ponds, and much more. It has two locations within the city: one in the historic downtown, and one at 500 University Avenue and is home to over 1,800 students. The Orillia Campus also contains a 250-bed residence, cafeteria and bookstore.

Lakehead-Georgian Campus in Barrie: Located in the heart of the City of Barrie, the Lakehead-Georgian Campus in Barrie is known for its friendly residents and four-season lifestyle. It currently offers four unique degree+diploma programs and will expand to more than 20 new degree programs and transfer pathways at campuses in Barrie and Orillia over the next five years. This campus provides a variety of facilities such fitness centre with climbing wall and gymnasium, innovation labs, library, public clinics, student lounges, cafeteria and on-campus restaurants, theatres and videoconferencing. The nearby trails as well as ski hills adds to the beauty of the Lakehead-Georgian Campus in Barrie.

Lakehead University's Thunder Bay student residences house 1,000+ students from all over the world. On-campus student housing is available for both international undergraduate and graduate aspirants. Thunder Bay campus can choose from dormitory-style with meal plans, shared apartments, or shared townhouses accommodation options. Students also have the option of staying off the campus in apartments. English Language Centre students have the option of Homestay. Orillia has a 240-bed residence hall where each student gets a private room while sharing a bathroom with only one other person. Each floor houses 40 single rooms, a laundry facility, a kitchenette, and a quiet study room.

Lakehead University accepts country-specific qualifications from Indian students and they must be fulfilled by the applicants in order to secure an enrollment in the university. These entry requirements comprise of the following:

• State Higher Secondary Certificate awarded by a State Board of Higher Secondary Education; OR
• India and Delhi Senior School Certificate awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education; OR
• India School Certificate awarded by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations.
• Score requirement: Minimum 70% overall final average (Canadian equivalent). Minimum 75% is required for the Applied Life Sciences and the Environmental Sustainability Lakehead-Georgian partnership programs.
• Optional Andhra Pradesh Course (credit transfer available).

At Lakehead University, all documents submitted during the application process need to be original drafts and in English or translated into English. Students can refer to the listings below for Lakehead University's admission requirements according to the choice of degree:

Undergraduate aspirants:

• English proficiency score report;
• Letters of Recommendation (LORs);
• Supplementary documents such as essays or portfolios, as per course requirements;

Graduate aspirants:

• Official transcripts;
• Standardized score reports;

• Copy of passport.
