Yes, students proficient in Japanese are allowed to take classes in Japenese. The Center for Japanese Language delivers classes in Japanese.
To pursue courses in Japanese, students are required to be really good at it. Most Japanese-based courses at Waseda Uni require a JLPT N1 or EJU Japanese score of 260+ on a scale of 400.

International students at Heidelberg need to submit proof of German language proficiency incase the course one is going for has an instruction language of the same. A few ways to do this for courses requiring level DSH-2 is via the following exams/certificates-
- Deutsches Sprachdiplom there Kultusministerkonferenz, Level 2
- Deutsche Sprachprüfung für then Hochschulzugang, Level 2
- Goethe-Zertifikat C2
- Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache
- telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule certificate

To study at the University of Mannheim, it can be handy if you know German.
- For UG prorgams a C1 level of the language is important
- For Masters ones, it is not as important because most of these courses are taught in English.
And, it is suggested that the Indian students to have some level of familiarity with this language to survive in the German-speaking environment.

Knowing German is helpful but not always mandatory. Many MBA jobs in Germany are available in English which is best for Indians. There are international companies, startups, consulting firms, and multinational organisations.

- Valid passport
- 3 passport photos
- Proof of sufficient funds
- Offer letter
- Health insurance
- Academic transcripts

Yes, for Bachelors, German Language is very important. Most free public universities teach in German only. You should clear at least B1 or B2 Level exams (Goethe/Telc) in India before going, otherwise you will struggle.
