Hello Tanmay Agarwal, I am afraid that after completion of 1 year of BCA will not entitle you for lateral more of admission into engineering colleges. For this one needs to complete Diploma in engineering, a three years course after completion of 10th board. You are doing BCA. I would like to advise you to continue with this course. There are plenty of opportunities for employment after graduation in this branch. For better prospects you can even think of doing MCA. Just for information, about 50% fresh engineering graduates do not get placed after completion of four years of degree course. Please do rethink. Best wishes to you.

Hello Mandira, it is not necessary to do an internship for taking lateral entry admission in a college after passing Diploma in food technology, Lateral Entry means students who are admitted to the third semester of the respective programme (Undergraduate Engineering Programme or the Post Graduate MCA programme, based on the qualification at the time of entry) Sample 1.
