Hi!
Lateral entry is basically entering a college while having completed the previous year or semester in another college. It is possible in some universities and colleges to get lateral entry but not many of them provide such facility. Also it depends on the course one is studying, usually lateral entry is seen in B.Tech courses. Some universities providing lateral entry are Mumbai University, Mizoram University, Maharashtra Institute of Technology and other as well. I hope you find this helpful.

Greetings Shreyas Anil Gondage, this is a government-run ancient college, hence there is no set cutoff below which applicants are prohibited. All students who have successfully completed their diploma programme with the minimum score required by the state of Maharashtra's directorate of technical education may submit an online application for admission through the lateral form of admission. One must score in the top 10 percentile to have a chance of admission because this college is one of the most well-known in the entire state.
I wish you well.

Yes, practically all private and public engineering colleges as well as colleges within the government sector allow lateral admissions to students who have earned their engineering Diploma. These admissions are often handled by the state's director of technical education, and in most states across India, the results of the Diploma test serve as the foundation for admission. I would like to recommend that you click on this link and visit the website to learn more about the steps and paperwork needed to successfully apply for admission in your state's lateral admission programme's second year.
