Yes, you can get admission in Jadavpur University.The procedure to get lateral entry into JU is only through JELET.
Jadavpur University having a minimum seats for lateral entry students specially in core department (Electrical and Mechanical) having 1–2 seats and only one seat for Civil.

Yes, Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU) offers lateral entry to students who have completed two years of a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised university or institution. Lateral entry students are admitted directly to the second year of the B.Tech. programme at SSPU.
To be eligible for lateral entry at SSPU, students must have a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in their Diploma examination.
