Hello Adarsh, these days there are more than hundred colleges in almost all the states who offer facility of lateral admission directly into second year of four year degree course. Majority of these colleges do have civil engineering as a possible choice. However the exact details and the number of seats available will only be available on the website of the directorate of technical education of your state. Best wishes to you.

Tech Lateral Entry Admission is conducted to offer admission in the second year of Engineering courses in all the DTU. But candidates must have to successfully pass their Diploma Degree. Tech Lateral Entry Admission 2021 seat matrix, application fees, admit card, result, etc.

Yes, you can join B.Tech programme after completing Polytechnic in the Diploma of engineering. If you take admission through lateral entry examination after Polytechnic then you will get admission directly into second year of engineering. The Lateral entry examination is state level examination.

Lateral entry at IPU Delhi - Lateral entries are of Diploma holders and not for B.Tech 1st year students.

For B.Tech (Lateral), candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks for Backward class and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only), Alternatively for B.Tech (Lateral), candidates with B.Sc. From a recognised university as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks for Backward class and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject, are also eligible. Dear, Lateral entry is for Diploma students and Not for B.Tech 1st year students. You can change college but under same university.

No -because MATS B.Tech admission is based on a valid JEE Main Score - Candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
