One should be graduate or in final year of graduation to apply for CDS. The graduation should be from a UGC recognised university under any provision. It does not matter whether you have lateral or direct.

Hello, Engineering courses are Four year in total, if you have opted for second year-lateral entry then for you engineering course is of 3 year in total. If you are a Diploma holder in engineering, then you can look forward with Lateral Entry in Mechatronics. Few of the leading universities that offer this course are IIT, NIT, DTU, LPU, VIT, SRM and few more.
