Hello Chandu, normally when we talk of lateral entry ii means that the student has passed Diploma in engineering and is seeking admission directly into second year of four year engineering degree course. As per your statement you are already studying in first year and as a result the rules of lateral admission will not be applicable to you. What you are seeking is transfer from one engineering College to another. Yes this is possible theoretically. For this you need to approach the administrative staff of your college to seek their guidance since they will be knowing different forms that you may have to fill up for taking up transfer to some other college. Age: A candidate should be a minimum of 21 years and maximum 32 years old as on August 01, 2021. But he/she must have been born not earlier than August 02, 1989 and not later than August 01, 2000. Necessary action will take to make corresponding changes in respective Rules/Regulations pertaining to various services. So you are eligible for UPSC CSE and can give the exam.
