It depends on which stream you want to get admission.
In JGEC, for C.S.E your rank must be max 600.
For EE-200
ECE-200-400
IT-2000
ME-200-300
CE- 150

Hello Ajith, Once you get admission in lateral mode directly into second year of engineering of 4 years degree course, the syllabus, classes everything is same. In fact you join the students in second year who have already finished their first year in the college in the same course. Hence syllabus is exactly same as that for normal B.Tech. It is very good to see your intention of doing your under graduation abroad. Keeping aim or setting a target is the first step in career building. You have already done this. Remember "never take no for an answer"! There are always ways and means to go abroad for doing your engineering after completion of your Diploma in India. I would like to advise you at this stage to go to an agency which is dealing with sending students for graduation abroad. This is so since there are many nuances in the whole process and these Agencies are well aware of these nuances. Your chances of success will improve if you go to a repute

It totally based on your merit between other applicant most of applicant have 6 CGPA. Criteria for getting admission is 60% or 6 CGPA in your all exams.

Yes, you can get lateral entry, but only in college which offer that. Most of the colleges have abolished this scheme. Still, there are few colleges which take admission on this. All the best. Please like and follow.

Yes, it is quite similar, but you have must have scored 45 percent in your intermediate or D.Pharm. Go through KCET website, you may get the application form.
