As per DPCOE official College website "Admissions to DSE (Direct Second Year) DPCOE are strictly based on merit only for Maharashtra candidates only. Outside Maharashtra, students should visit the college for the same. Undergraduate admissions are as per the guidelines of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra."

Different universities have different criteria. Thus, some universities allow pursuing MCA after BBA if the student had studied Mathematics or Statistics or Business Maths or Business Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation or 10+2 level.
