As far as my knowledge is concerned, AMU does not offer lateral entry for B.Tech course. You will have to qualify the AMUEEE entrance exam and begin your course from the first year.

You have not mentioned about the Diploma which you hold and the state from which you wish to pursue the lateral course. However, if you have three-year of engineering Diploma from a recognised institution than there are several colleges offer B.Tech lateral admission through the entrance exam.

Admission in Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh (PEC) for B.Tech programs are done through JoSAA/ CSAB. Hence, there is no provision of lateral entry.

If you did not opt for Diploma, you cannot get lateral entry admission.
