Candidates must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from an accredited school in order to be admitted to Bihar College of Pharmacy's B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) program. Depending on the college's policies, entrance exams or merit are usually the basis for admission. A minimum of 50% should be the cumulative score for eligible candidates in their D.Pharm. Completing an application form, sending necessary documentation, and perhaps going to counseling sessions are all part of the application process. In Karnataka, CET certificate students can pursue B.Tech through external admission process to join second year engineering courses. Due to changes in AICTE rules, students will be able to opt for any engineering stream from 2022-23 academic year, irrespective of their specific certification. Admission is based on Diploma CET (DCET) exam, where currently only 100 marks are considered in Science and Mathematics. The ranking is a combination of 50% DCET score and 50% Diploma score. Karnataka Examination Authority oversees the process including seat allocation and counselling.
