Yes, the institute provides direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. In order to pursue this course, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass either Diploma with a minimum of 50% marks in appropriate branch of Engineering Technology or BSc Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks with mathematics as a subject in Class 12. Aspirants must fill an online application form DTE Maharashtra portal and then register on MIT AOE's website.

Yes, SSRIT Chennai offers lateral entry to BTech course. Aspirants who have completed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education,  Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of BE/ BTech in the branch corresponding to the branch of study can apply for BE/ BTech (LE). 

The candidates who possess a Degree in Science (BSc) with Mathematics as a subject at the BSc level are also eligible to apply for lateral entry admission to the third semester of BE/ BTech.

You must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying graduation courses to get entry in MCA lateral entry course.

Mandatory Courses: BCAB.Sc. (Computer Science)
Candidate who have passed B.Sc. in Information Technology/ BBA in Computer Aided Management from a recognised college/ university are also eligible to apply for the course.

No, Amrita University does not offer lateral entry to its BTech programmes. In its the latest brochure, no such information is provided. For more clarity regarding the same, students are advised to reach out to the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham admission office. However, the university does offer full-time BTech programmes in 12 specialisations. Read more about the offered BTech courses, application process, and selection here.
