Yes, to get admission into BA LLB course at Faculty of Law, BHU, students must clear the CUET UG entrance exam. The exam is for the duration of two hours. Questions are asked around Legal aptitude, General knowledge, Current affairs, and English comprehension skills. The total questions in this exam are in the range of 150-200.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission into BA LLB course is pass class 12 exams, with minimum 50% score. This is for general category students. Whereas, for reserved categories, the minimum marks required are 45%. Students can make their application up to 20 years of age. If it is less or more, admission into BA LLB course at Faculty of Law, BHU will not be offered.

The CET Cell closed the MH CET Law 2026 registration window for the 3-year LLB programme on March 3, 2026. For the MH CET Law 2026 5-year LLB course, the last date was March 31, 2026.

The fee for law programmes at Chandigarh University after 12th is quite similar across courses. A BA LL.B (5-year) costs around INR 10–10.5 lakh in total (about INR 1–1.2 lakh per semester), while a BBA LL.B and a B.Com LL.B are also close to INR 10 lakh overall with INR 95,000– 1 lakh per semester. You can also take CUCET to get scholarships, which can help reduce the fees.

The AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is conducted once a year. It is held in December for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at the participating National Law Universities (NLU Delhi). AILET 2026 was held on December 14, 2025. AILET Exam is held in pen-and-paper mode.

NLU Delhi conducts the AILET exam every year for admission to the BA LLB & LLM programs. Candidates who appear in the exam will then be called for admission as per the rank and scores achieved in the exam. The candidates whose names appear in the merit list are then required to appear for document verification and fee payment.

AILET merit list has the name of the candidate, registration number, and rank. It also gives instructions for admission and seat reservation. If candidates do not pay the fee within the time, their candidature will be cancelled.
