It is possible for a law student in their final year to take the DU LLM entrance exam as long as they fulfil the requirements established by the University of Delhi. Although applicants who are in the last year of a three- or five-year LLB programme are welcome to apply, their admission will be provisional and contingent upon their final degree results being submitted by the university's deadline. In addition, the candidate must have met the minimum eligibility criteria by earning at least 50% (or 45% for restricted categories) in their qualifying LLB degree.

With an EWS rank of 1,700 and an All India Rank (AIR) of 19,202 in the CLAT, it could be difficult to get accepted to Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna. In prior years, the general category closing ranks for CNLU's BA LLB programme were about 1,285.
State reservation policies, however, can help you as a candidate with a Bihar domicile, which could increase your chances.

The All India quota's first round cutoff score for the General category in 2024 was 99.48, while the final round ended at 99.43. The initial cutoff for the Home State quota was 97.44, and it ended at 96.88. These results demonstrate how competitive admissions are.
