In order to get admission to BA LLB at Vel Tech, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e, to pass Class 12 with the respective subjects from a recognised university. Gauhati University LLM admission is completely entrance and merit based. While students must have completed/ be pursuing (final year) their UG degree in the field of Law, final subject to a university-level entrance exam conducted by GU. For the 2022 academic year, the admission process for LLM at Guwahati University started in November with the opening of applications and the entrance for the same was conducted in December. Yes, Gauhati University offers a two-year LLM programme in the field of Law. Offered via six affiliated colleges under Gauhati University, admission to LLM is subject to a university-level entrance exam. On the basis of the scores obtained in the GU-conducted LLM entrance exam, a merit list is prepared with the names of the selected candidates. A list of the Gauhati University affiliated colleges which offer LLM programme include BRM Government Law College, Dhubri Law College, Dispur Law College, JB Law College, NEF Law College and Tezpur Law College.
