Q:   Does Agra College provide good placement facilities?
A:
Agra College has received an impressive review rating of 2.68 on Placements based on 62 feedback of verified Shiksha students.
Q:   Is LL.B. at Agra College a good choice?
A:
{Source: LL.B. students & alumni}

Based on the student reviews and experiences, here's what you can expect:

Pros:

* Highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty
* Good infrastructure, including a separate wing for the Law department with a library and moot court
* Friendly and supportive teachers who help students prepare for the real-world
* Opportunities to participate in events, cultural programs, and sports at the district and state levels
* Access to a civil court for practical learning
* A huge campus with a peaceful environment

Cons:

* No direct placements or internships provided by the college for LL.B. students
* Limited career guidance and support from faculty members
* Exams are annual, which may put pressure on students
* Old buildings and lack of modern amenities, including Wi-Fi connectivity

Career prospects:
While the college doesn't provide direct placements, students can opt for internships in local lawyers' offices or law firms. Some students have reported getting placed in legal roles in companies, although the salaries vary. Career options include working as a legal advisor, lawyer, or judge.

Conclusion:
LL.B. at Agra College can be a good choice for students looking for a comprehensive education in law. While the college faces limitations in terms of placements and infrastructure, it offers a strong academic foundation, experienced faculty, and opportunities for practical learning. However, students must be prepared to seek internships and job opportunities independently, and be flexible about accepting different career paths.
Q:   Is it worth pursuing B.Com at Agra College?
A:
{Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of what to expect:

Pros:

* Good faculty with a strong educational background
* Knowledgeable and cooperative teachers who help students clarify their doubts
* Relevant course curriculum with a focus on industry requirements
* Opportunities for extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, and events
* Reasonable fee structure with availability of need-based scholarships

Cons:

* Limited placement offers (only 10-15% of students get placed)
* No internship opportunities provided by the college
* No Wi-Fi or lab facilities available
* Infrastructure is outdated and requires improvement (classrooms, library, canteen, etc.)
* Some teachers lack enthusiasm and dedication towards teaching
* Limited sports facilities and no gymnasium

Placement Statistics:

* Around 30-40% of students get placed in good reputed companies like Jio, Airtel, Amazon, and Flipkart
* Salary package ranges from INR4 LPA to INR5 LPA
* Top roles are offered in commerce and banking accounting

Overall Assessment:

Pursuing B.Com at Agra College might be suitable for students who prioritize a solid educational foundation over extra-curricular activities and career advancement opportunities. With careful expectations, a BCom degree from Agra College could still lead to a successful career in the long run.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2026

Dissatisfied because there is 0% placement but the college is nice overall.
Placements: There are 0 placements in my B.A. course. No company has come for recruitment in the last 10 years in my course, so if you are willing to take admission to this college for placement, it's a big no from my side don't take admission to this college for placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good. Agra College is one of the best colleges in Agra in terms of infrastructure. There is library with almost every book, CCTV in every classroom, science labs with all the equipment, good canteen, park, and a friendly atmosphere.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but they don't take regular classes. They are always available and ready to help you with your doubts and problems. Semester exams are not difficult if you have basic knowledge of your syllabus you can easily pass them.
Other: The best thing about this college and course is there is no issue with attendance. I'm a professional sports person so for me taking regular classes is not possible and my attendance is always short so I chose this college. And I'm happy with my decision.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: There is absolutely no placement available here. This is a completely useless college; no professor listens to anyone, no classes are taken, and placement is a far cry. No professor helps any student; they keep roaming from here to there. This is a useless college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on our campus; even our mobiles do not get network. There are labs, but their condition is very bad, and we cannot even get into the labs. There are classrooms, but classes are not held. The library is good in college. The condition of the hostel is bad.
Faculty: Teachers do not help any student; they are concerned about themselves. All the teachers are well-qualified. The study is good, but the classes are not held. Exams are easy, but we have to prepare for our exams with notes; teachers do not help us with this.
Other: I chose a Bachelor of Arts because I could prepare for government jobs with it. I had also chosen the subjects in such a way that I could prepare for a government job. Scholarships are also very difficult to get.

Why should you not join Agra College, if your dream is to get a good job.
Placements: Not many companies come at this college, you have to grab opportunities yourself, as it is a government college. Not many people have got internships from our college, it is just an average college. If you have other options or a plan for higher studies, then you should choose this college.
Infrastructure: I don't know much about the hostel. But Wi-Fi isn't available there. The library is good, you can get tons of books there. And you can issue them for free, as it should be. There are three canteens: one for the women's wing, one near the commerce faculty, and one for engineering.
Faculty: Some teachers are superb, and the quality of those teachers is awesome, but others are awful. The curriculum is relevant, but it can't make students ready as it is not that much wider. Semester exams get harder semester by semester. The pass percentage was low this time.

The worst experience of my life.
Placements: I have done the biggest mistake by taking admission in that college (Agra College), as there was no placement opportunities. Not even a single company came when I was in college. Not a single student got an internship in my course. The course and the college both were not making the students industry ready.
Infrastructure: The library was fine, easily accessible to all students, but there were not enough course books available. The canteen was okay, and the good part of that college was its NCC. The college infrastructure was literally very bad; not a single classroom's furniture was fine.
Faculty: Teachers did not take the classes, and not even a single teacher wanted to teach. Although teachers were well-qualified, they still didn't want to teach. The course curriculum was not relevant because it doesn't make the students industry ready. When I was in college, there was no semester exam, only year exams were held, and they were based on previous year exams. So, if a student studied only previous years' exams, he or she could gain passing marks easily.

Please come and self review the college
Placements: More than 50% student gets placed. Highest package is 8 lacs and lowest package is 3 lacks per annum. More than 70% students get internship during course. I get sufficient time to continue my government job preparation. There are many companies who recruit many students.
Infrastructure: Provide wifi for all campus classrooms are neat and clean and best thing that every type of book is available in library. Hostel is well clean. Many types of food available in canteen and canteen staff is so good and having good nature. Many games are held in college campus.
Faculty: All teachers are well qualified and help everyone. Semester exams are not difficult. During complete course they tell us about all type of information which is helpful for us and then show a way that how to get job in private sector and improve skills.
Other: Because to continue my preparation for government job books

A prestigious college with a good campus and qualified teachers.
Placements: There is nothing like placements here. For courses like the B.A. program, I don't think anyone would get any internships or placements. A Bachelor of Arts degree is just used to show that one has graduated and nothing else. This course is not about placements. The college is good, but for courses like B.A., everyone knows there are no chances of placements or corporate jobs.
Infrastructure: Well, I am a locality, so I haven't used the college hostel. However, I know some friends who have used hostels, and their reviews about the hostel are just average, not so good, and not so bad. The college is very old and prestigious. Hence it has quite good facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. After all, it is a government college, and everyone is well aware of the qualifications of government teachers. Exams are not really tough, and it would not be a very hard task for an average student to clear them.
Other: Particularly, I have chosen this course because I am a civil services aspirant, and B.A. can be used as a backbone for exams like UPSC and other competitive exams. The college campus is good, with a green environment.
