ILNU offers a variety of elective course choices to the students pursuing the LLM programme. Students must choose any two of the following elective courses:

The LLM (Criminal and Security Law) curriculum followed at ILNU inlcudes various core and elective subjects related to the specialisation. It also includes a dissertation of 3 credit points. Some subjects included in the programme curriculum are listed below:

The curriculum for LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law at ILNU Ahmedabad is divided into three trimesters. The last trimester includes a dissertation of 3 credits. In the first two trimesters, students have to study the following subjects:

• Research Methods and Legal Writing
• Law and Justice in Globalizing world
• Comparative Law
• Centre-State Relations and Constitutional Governance
• Police and Security Administration
• Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles
• Administrative Law

UNIRAJ requires students to gain 30 credits in each semester of LLM course. Thus, to complete the course, students have to get 120 credits in total for the completion of the degree. Out of 120 credits, not less than 60% can be obtained by passing the core papers. The remaining 40% will be secured by passing the elective papers. 

Yes, the University of Rajasthan provides relaxation to support the underprivileged students. The minimum eligibility 55% for the General category students for Bachelors' degree. However, for the reserved categories, including SC/ST/PH/EWS/MBC/OBC, the university offers a relaxation of 5% as a minimum criteria. Therefore, these categories are eligible to apply in case they have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in a bachelor's degree.

Students aspiring to take admission in the UNIRAJ LLM course are required to submit an online application form. The form is available on the university’s official website. It enquires about basic student details such as name, phone number, address, education qualification, etc.

 After the application stage, the university prepares a rank list based on applicants scores in the qualifying examination.  Further, the admission committee shortlists students based on their rank and seat intake. Those who are offered admission must report to allocated institute for verification and payment of fees.
