Work experience is not a strict requirement for an MSc in Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The admissions committee primarily focuses on academic qualifications, including your undergraduate degree, grades, and standardized test scores like the GRE. So having work experience can be beneficial but it is not a prerequisite.

GRE is required for applicants without a UK undergraduate degree in economics. There is no specific cutoff but candidates are expected to score at least 161 in the quantitative section of the test. A higher score will be favorable. However, the overall evaluation is on the basis of other academic exam results and references.

Applications for MSc Economics at London School of Economics and Political Science is accepted on a rolling basis. This means that applications will close once the programme is full. There is no fixed deadline. However, if students want be considered for any financial funding opprtunities they need to submit their application and all supporting documents by the funding deadline.
