The London School of Economics does not mandate work experience for most of the master's programs. However, students must consider submitting them as it is highly valued. Students who are going to take admission to programs like Management, Finance, or Public Policy are advised to submit their scores, as it can enhance their chances of selection. In addition, along with academic excellence, factors like relevant internships, research projects, or any prior professional roles can improve the admission chances.

The London School of Economics expects a minimum of 3.5 GPA on the scale of 4 or 65%-75%, higher in a UG degree from a recognised university, or equivalent. Along with fulfilling the basic eligibility requirements, they must submit certain mandatory documents such as academic transcripts, CV, statement of purpose, standardized test scores, and English language requirements. Students who provide some additional achievements like extracurricular or relevant work experience are prioritized over those who do not.
