The TANCET admission tests are used to determine the cut-off for Loyola College in Chennai. Admission is provided dependent on available seats.
Here are various Loyola College cut-offs:
- B.Com: 99%
- BCA: 80-85% in 12th grade board exams
- B.Sc: Ranked #7 by India Today
- M.Sc: Ranked #7 by India Today
Loyola College accepts online applications for courses. Admission to undergraduate courses is based on merit. Students must, however, pass the Loyola Visual Aptitude Test (LoVAT) to enroll in Media studies.

| MCA | Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with Mathematics as one of the subject at Intermediate or Degree level with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission. |
| M.Sc. | Candidate must have completed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. from a recognised college /university. Preference will be given to the candidates who have completed B.Sc. in Visual Communication or B.A. in Mass Communication. |
| B.Com | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board. |
| B.Sc. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board. |
| B.Voc | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board. |
