Hi.

  • LIT accepts JEE Main (or equivalent) plus state‑level counselling for regular admissions.
  • But LIT also allows direct admission / management‑quota / merit‑quota seats — especially when seats remain vacant after regular counselling.
  • For direct admission under this quota, often the basic requirement is having passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math) as applicable, rather than a high JEE Main rank.

Lucknow Institute of Technology is known for its BTech courses. The college offers 8 specialisations in BTech. More than 85% os the student gets placed every year, and the highest package offered at the college is INR 7 LPA. The faculty members for this course are highly qualified and knowledgeable.

The cutoff rank list for the 2024 intake at Lucknow Institute of Technology (LIT) was announced during the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counseling (UPTAC) process. For B.Tech courses, closing ranks in the last round varied from 451,239 to 1,283,968 for General AI category students. Cutoff ranks were specific to specialization; Mechanical Engineering had a closing rank of 1,103,907, while Computer Science Engineering had a closing rank of 1,282,968.

To get an admission into the B.E./B.Tech offered by Lucknow Institute of Technology, candidates must be eligible by completing Class 12th with Physics, Mathematics and one optional subject with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) from any recognised board of India. It depends on the course in which the student is interested.  Lucknow Institute of Technology offers BTech, MBA, MTech, and After 10th Diploma courses. Admission to the BTech, and MBA courses at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main and the CUET PG exams respectively. Applications for the CUET PG exam generally opens in the month of March and are currently closed. The quality of mess at LIT according to students is said to be good. Hygienic, nutritious, and wholesome food at the mess is served in four meals i.e breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner at Lucknow Institute of Technology.
