M.Des Eligibility

It is definitely possible but each fashion institute has its own eligibility criteria. Some may allow admission to a candidate hailing from any educational background while others would prefer a candidate who has done graduation in design field itself. You will have to check the criteria of all the colleges that you are interested in. For example: Pearl Academy will not consider your application for the Masters programme but NID and NIFT would accept the application as the admission criteria is solely dependent on how you perform in the entrance exam. Yes, you are eligible to apply for M.Des. After completing graduation, you can apply for CEED or M.Des.
All applicants will have to undergo the Design Aptitude Test.
Educational Qualification: Applicants must either have appeared for (results awaited), passed, or will be appearing for any of the following degree examinations before July 2017:
Bachelors degree in any discipline under the 10+2+4 (or more) system, from any university or institute recognized by law in India.
Diploma in design under the 10+2+4 system, from any university or institute recognized by law in India.
OR
Applicants must either have appeared for (results awaited) or passed, before July 2016, a Bachelors degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 system from any university or institute recognized by law in India.
You will get an ample number of opportunities with this degree. You can explore many things during your study.

Its good that you're targeting UPES for your M.Des. UPES is one of the best when it comes to pursue your career in the field of design. All of its M.Des specializations are good. Forms are already out and last date to apply for UPES-DAT is 10th of January, so hurry up. Test is from 19 to 21 January, 2016 & Interviews and Presentation of Portfolio is on: 28-29 January, 2016 in New DelhI. Below is the eligbility criteria:
a) Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level (10th & 12th).
b) B. Tech / BE in any discipline / B. Arch / BFA 4 years / B. Des / Interior Design / Applied Arts with minimum 50% marks.
c) Valid CEED 2015 or 2016 score or valid UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPES DAT) score followed by Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio.
