Candidates who have Bachelor's Degree from any recognised board, are eligibile for the FDDI MDes Programme. Also candiates must appear for the AIST (All India Selection Test), which qualifies the candidates for admission to the MDes programme. FDDI offers MDes in Footwear Design and Production Technology. The MDes programme provides in-depth understanding of Footwear (Leather & Non Leather) Design, Manufacturing, Management and Retailing. The course encourages Research based study of the relevant area to take up higher challenges in the relevant Industry.

MDes in Transportation Design is a postgraduate course under master degree level at Ajeenkya DY Patil University. The minimum eligibility for this course requires passing a candidate who is graduate in the filed of design. Candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent from foreign universities need to produce a certificate or recognition/ equivalence by the Association of India Universities (AIU), as equivalent to the corresponding Indian degrees, for the purpose of higher studies can apply for MDes course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

Vijaybhoomi University offers two-year MDes programme in one specialisations. The programmes come with several course learnings, including Photography,  Filmmaking,  Graphic Design, Digital Design,  Visual Skills, Animation and Information & Interactive Design. Candidates willing to seek admission to these programmes need to appear for VSAT based on creative aptitude. To test the creative skills of a candidate, selected students are further called for a Design Studio Test followed by a Language and Visual Skill Tes

Yes, candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram M.Des course need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. To be eligible for IIIT Kancheepuram M.Des admission, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Design/ Architecture (under 10+2+4 years regular) with a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ PwD) or equivalent grades in the qualifying degree.

Yes, candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram M.Des course need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
