The important topics of subjects for an MSc in Fashion Design entrance exam depend on the entrance exam you choose. For instance, if you have opted for the NIFT entrance exam, then you must brush up on your drawing skills, study more about design principles, color theory, composition, and typography.
You must also prepare for the interview and the group discussion rounds.

MFTech and MSc Fashion Design are different due to their focused area. The MFTech course is more on the technical and managerial side of the fashion industry, such as garment manufacturing, quality management, production, and merchandising.
On the other hand, MSc Fashion Design focuses more on the ethical, social, ecological, and cultural aspects of the design industry.

There are many entrance exams conducted for MSc Fashion Design admission, and the difficulty level of every exam is different. Hence, it depends on the exam you choose to appear for. NIFT entrance, CEED, and NID DAT are relatively tougher to crack, as they require candidates to have both theoretical and practical knowledge of Design, along with creative vision.

It depends on your college choice. While most MSc Fashion Design colleges require you to appear and score in specific entrance exams to get admission in the program, some colleges also provide admission on a merit-based system. For example, PSG College of Arts and Science, NIFT - TEA, JD Birla Institute, Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, etc., colleges offer admission based on your score in graduation.
